Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division has started work on the replacement of a manhole on Monroe Ave. The work is expected to disrupt traffic between South Second and Front St. off and on throughout the month of August.

The work will take place in front of 73 Monroe. Other directly-affected addresses are 53, 59, 66, 69, 71, 73 and 80 Monroe as well as 39 S. Main St.
