Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division invites local small businesses and minority- and women-owned enterprises to learn about business opportunities with the utility at the fourth annual Supplier Diversity Procurement Conference on Wednesday, March 30, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MLGW Joyce M. Blackmon Training Center, 4949 Raleigh LaGrange Rd., Memphis, TN 38128.
Business owners will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with MLGW project managers, end-users and procurement professionals and preview MLGW’s 2016 contracting and purchasing needs.
In 2015, MLGW spent 37 percent or $47 million of its total procurement spend with local small businesses and minority- and women-owned enterprises.

Building Construction Contractors; HVAC Contractors; Electrical Contractors; Training and Development Consultants; Concrete and Asphalt Contractors; Communications and Public Relations Agencies; Pest Control and Termite Service Providers; Computer Hardware/Software Service Providers; Business Service Consultants; Temporary Employment Providers and IS Consulting Services.
