At Memphis Light, Gas and Water, we are committed to making our electric system better by trimming trees, replacing outdated infrastructure and modernizing the distribution grid.

The Tree Trimming plan was implemented in September 2023, with three tree trimming contractors Kendall Vegetation Services, Lewis Tree Service, Inc. and ABC Tree Service, LLC. The goal is to have a three-year tree trimming cycle, with a projected completion of 1,491 miles by September 2024.
