MLGW to Temporarily Close Ayers for Water Installation Project

Memphis Light, Gas and Water will temporarily shut down Ayers from Poplar to Mosby one night each week for a water service installation project. The work is scheduled to begin June 18–23, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Barricades will be set up along the corridor of Ayers between Poplar and Mosby. Travelers can use Decatur or Dunlap as alternate routes.
MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 421,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
