MLGW roadwork affecting traffic on East McLemore Avenue and Mississippi Boulevard has been extended

Streets to reopen September 27
Due to underground interferences, Memphis Light, Gas and Water gas crews who are installing a gas main at East McLemore Avenue will now reopen the streets two weeks later than planned on September 27.
The installation has caused the closure of East McLemore Avenue between Mississippi Boulevard and Krayer Street. In addition, traffic on Mississippi Boulevard is reduced to one lane in each direction at the intersection of East McLemore. The work takes place on weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. To learn more about MLGW’s gas maintenance projects, go to mlgw.com/gas.
