MLGW adds second Power of Warmth event on January 22

Free space heaters and electric blankets available to qualified applicants
Memphis Light, Gas and Water has added a second Power of Warmth event in conjunction with the Neighborhood Christian Centers to assist qualified low-income seniors and disabled residents of Shelby County. The MLGW program provides free space heaters and electric blankets.
The Neighborhood Christian Centers will screen applicants on Wednesday, January 22, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at 785 Jackson Ave.
To qualify for the Power of Warmth Program, applicants must be a resident of Shelby County, disabled and/or a low-income senior (age 60 or older) and have an MLGW account in their name.
Applicants cannot have previously received an appliance from MLGW.
Applicants will need the following credentials on hand:
