Closure, starting May 12, is expected to last two weeks

Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division will begin work to replace a 24-inch water valve at the intersection of Central and Highland on May 12. The work could take up to two weeks to complete. The eastbound traffic on Central and southbound traffic on Highland will be affected, and drivers may want to choose alternate routes.
