MLGW water construction crews will be working for the next 5-7 days at Poplar and Ridgeway, a project that will require several lanes of traffic to be closed on Poplar. The crews will start work tomorrow (Tuesday, April 16), and will be working from 7 p.m. - 6 a.m. each day until the completion of this project. During the construction, only one lane of eastbound traffic on Poplar will be open at this intersection. Westbound traffic is not expected to be affected.

The construction is necessary to relocate a fire hydrant and run fire protection service to a new building, and crews will work as quickly as possible to complete the project and minimize the disruption.
