Memphis Light, Gas and Water Community Offices will close at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31. Business offices are closed on Wednesday, January 1 in observance of New Year’s Day. Normal business operations will resume Thursday, January 2.
Utility crews are always available for emergencies and outages. MLGW asks customers to report gas leaks and downed power lines to the emergency hotline at 528-4465. Customers can call 544-6500 or use their My Account to report outages.
My Account can also be used to check the status of an outage, check balances, make payment arrangements and more. Customers with at least four to seven days of lead time can start, stop and transfer service online at mlgw.com.
