The vote on whether to award the Tennessee Valley Authority a long-term contract for supplying power to MLGW was scheduled for November 16, 2022. That vote has been delayed due to an appeal. The vote will be scheduled once the appeals process is completed.

MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 440,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
