Memphis Light Gas and Water will be working in three areas across the city for construction projects that will begin Tuesday, May 29, through the end of August 2018.

The first area will be Allenby Road from Farmington Road to Westfair Circle. The second project will be Georgia Avenue and Hernando Street, and the final project will occur at South Yates Road from Poplar Avenue to Shady Grove Road.

These repairs are necessary for cast iron replacement and system improvement. The work will take approximately three months and should be completed by the end of August. Some lanes will be impacted at each site but there will be at least one lane of traffic flow in each direction majority of the time.
