Memphis Light, Gas and Water employees will participate in the following community events this month:

January 10, 17, 24, 31, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Feeding the Homeless
MLGW Admin. Building to Court Square
MLGW employees will walk down Main Street to Court Square and back handing out sandwiches to feed the hungry every Friday.

January 15, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Power of Warmth and Senior Expo
Neighborhood Christian Center (785 Jackson)
MLGW employees will distribute electric blankets and space heaters to qualifying customers. Participating agencies will set up information tables for seniors.

January 17, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
Dave Wells Community Center (915 Chelsea) and surrounding area
MLGW employees will hand out energy kits, complete small weatherization projects and participate in a neighborhood cleanup. 

January 23, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
