LIVE virtual town hall tonight to discuss the February 3 ice storm

Councilman Worth Morgan, District 5, is hosting a virtual town hall meeting Wednesday, February 23 at 6 p.m.
The town hall will be streamed LIVE on Facebook: facebook.com/councilinyourneighborhood and on the Kudzukian YouTube channel: YouTube.com/KudzukianNetwork.
Councilman Morgan has invited MLGW leadership, including President & CEO J.T. Young, to discuss the utility’s response to Winter Storm Landon.
Customers are invited to attend virtually.
Winter Storm Landon left much of Memphis and Shelby County covered in up to half an inch of ice.
• The peak number of outages: 186,000.
• Total MLGW customers affected: 233,460.
• Total restoration hours: 272.
The storm started in Memphis on February 3, 2022 and was the fourth-largest event (in terms of power interruptions) in MLGW history.
