MLGW crews are gearing up to assist with disaster relief in North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. Two crews are leaving September 15 for New Bern, N.C. to help North Carolina Electric. They will leave MLGW’s North Service Center (1060 Tupelo) at 5 a.m., Saturday.

Hurricane Florence is a Category 1 storm hovering over the Carolinas right now. This hurricane could impact residents as far south as Georgia and north in Virginia. Millions of people in its path are now under a hurricane warning or watch.
