Storm restoration efforts complete

Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division crews completed restoring service to all customers who lost power in Friday’s storms this afternoon.
The remnants of Hurricane Laura brought heavy rain and wind to the Mid-South.
Damage was widespread across Shelby County and included downed wires and fallen utility poles.
At the height of the storm roughly 27,900 customers lost power. Service was restored to the majority of customers by Friday evening and the remaining power outages were restored this afternoon.
