Memphis Light, Gas and Water will hold a special meeting of its Board of Commissioners on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. in the 5th Floor Board Room, 220 S. Main. MLGW’s Power Supply Consultants, GDS & Associates, Inc., will update the most recent cost projections as part of the Power Supply Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and MLGW management will present their recommendations regarding power supply options.
The utility has been evaluating alternatives to continuing its relationship with current electricity supplier, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).
