Meeting to be held in person with limited attendance
Memphis Light, Gas and Water is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners who are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Memphis. Public meetings are held at 8:30 a.m., the first and third Wednesday of each month (unless otherwise noted), at the MLGW Administration Building, 220 S. Main and are open to the public. Social distancing is required as Shelby County Health Directives require masks and social distancing. All in attendance must wear masks, be prepared to answer screening questions, and submit to temperature checks to enter the building. It is suggested that the public arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
Alternatively, the public may access the meeting electronically via live stream by visiting mlgw.com/livestream. Members of the public attending electronically may submit comments and/or questions concerning any agenda item or any other matter, to MLGW twenty-four (24) hours before the May 5, 2021 meeting (8:30 a.m., May 4). To submit public comment, email corpcomm@mlgw.org with (a) full name, (b) full street address, (c) phone number, (d) agenda item, if applicable, and (e) comment or question.
A copy of the agenda for the meeting is attached to this notice. A video or audio recording of the meeting will be available within 2 business days of the close of the meeting through the MLGW website at mlgw.com/livestream.
