Crews working to restore customers affected by Saturday morning storms

(April 30, 2016-8:30 p.m.) — MLGW crews are working to restore services after storms moved through Shelby County Saturday morning. At one point, more than 26,000 customers were without power; as of 8:30 p.m., about 11,000 customers are without power

Crews will continue to work to restore power to customers. Additional MLGW crews have been called in for the restoration. Midtown, Whitehaven, Southwest and East Memphis are among the hardest hit areas.
