MLGW and the Neighborhood Christian Center have given out all of the free space heaters and electric blankets in the Power of Warmth Program to qualified low-income seniors and physically challenged residents of Shelby County. All of the heaters and blankets were given out Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014.

The Neighborhood Christian Center will not be accepting additional applications on Wednesday.

MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 429,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
