MLGW’s Downtown Community Office, 245 S. Main St., will be open from 8 a.m. to noon this Saturday, April 13, to assist customers who need help with their bills.
Appointments are highly encouraged but walk-ins will be accepted. Customers can go online (mlgw.com/appt) or use the QLESS app to schedule an appointment to see a credit counselor in person. Customers do not have to make an appointment for payments.
Customers should bring a valid picture ID (driver’s license or passport). Customers can park in the Beale Street Landing garage for free with validation; a Security Officer in the Community Office can validate the parking stub.
Information will be available on assistance programs, including weatherization and energy efficiency kits. Neighborhood Christian Center, United Way and Memphis 2-1-1 will be on hand to discuss financial assistance for utility bills.
