The MLGW Business of Service Conference is scheduled for Friday, November 8, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the MLGW Training Center, 4949 Raleigh-LaGrange at Covington Pike.
The conference is an annual event coordinated by MLGW designed to provide training and networking opportunities for faith and non-profit leaders. This year's conference theme is “Preparing for the Future”.
Workshop topics include CPR for Family and Friends; Understanding Dementia and Alzheimer’s; Social Enterprising—A Fundraising Strategy; Promoting Healthier Youth; Help for the Homeless; Get Covered Tennessee; and Partners for a Healthy Memphis. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take advantage of health screenings courtesy of Saint Francis Hospital – Bartlett.
