Memphis Light, Gas and Water is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners who are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Memphis. Public meetings are held at 8:30 a.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month (unless otherwise noted) at the MLGW Administration Building, 220 S. Main.
All in attendance must wear masks, be prepared to answer screening questions and social distance. It is suggested that the public arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
Customers who don’t plan to attend the meeting in person can submit questions by email prior to the meeting. The email should include: the customer’s full name, physical address and question. All emails should be sent 24 hours before the meeting starts (8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021) to corpcomm@mlgw.org. Include “June 16, 2021 Board Meeting” in the subject line of the email.
The public may also access the meeting and agenda online at mlgw.com/livestream.
MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 429,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County.
