(August 3, 2010) - As of 7:30 pm, about 3,900 MLGW customers remain without power following the afternoon thunderstorm that hit areas of south Memphis, including Parkway Village and Hickory Hill. The storm hit around 4:30 pm, primarily knocking out one circuit, five partial circuits and 19 overhead fuses among other damage initially affecting 7,000 customers. Crews are working to restore the remaining affected customers.
