Exceleron Software has selected Memphis as the site of its 9th annual Exceleron Users Conference, April 29 through May 1. Memphis Light, Gas, and Water (MLGW), which relies on Exceleron’s MyUsage platform to offer prepay accounts, will be the host utility.

Utility representatives, sponsors, and vendors from across the United States will attend the three-day event at the Westin Hotel in downtown Memphis. The “Welcome Address” will be given by Chris Bieber, Vice President of Customer Care for MLGW.

Participants will attend breakout sessions, expert panels, and discussion groups to learn about new MyUsage features and functionality, identify best practices at other utilities, and explore ways to improve operations and customer service. Exceleron will recognize the exceptional achievements of utilities using MyUsage in an awards ceremony on the final day.

Exceleron’s MyUsage platform is a customer engagement platform and a suite of integrated applications for prepay accounts, payment processing, usage monitoring, debt recovery, and communication alerts. More than 60 utilities rely on MyUsage to improve communication with customers and offer greater payment flexibility and convenience.

Exceleron’s User Advisory Board will convene on May 2 to discuss the MyUsage Product Roadmap and identify additional desired features. The User Advisory Board Chair, Brian Pippin, Manager of Strategic Customer Solutions for JEA, remarked on the “powerful synergy and group learning fostered” when utility representatives meet face to face to focus on the business process, technology and innovation underlying their communication and bill payment offerings.
