A utility contractor may conduct a gas leak survey in your neighborhood or work area. The contractor with Heath Consultants will wear a MLGW safety vest and MLGW ID badge.
This survey is over the full length of the gas service from the street to the gas meter.
If a worker cannot get to a customer’s gas meter because of a locked gate or a dog in the backyard, call the number on the yard sign near your mailbox to set up a return visit. If a leak is found, MLGW will return and repair the problem at no charge to the customer.
Memphis Light, Gas and Water is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving the residents of Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee since 1939.
