IRP draft public review period ends July 6

A public review period of the draft of the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) ends Monday, July 6. Memphis Light, Gas and Water leadership encourages customers to review the draft and send questions to powersupply@mlgw.org before the public review period is over.
Siemens Industry Incorporated presented the draft during an online meeting June 4. It lays out MLGW’s available options for supplying power to customers for the next several years.
The presentation, the IRP draft and links to all IRP-related materials are available at mlgw.com/powersupplyinfo.
When the 30-day, public review period ends July 6, Siemens will start finalizing the IRP and making recommendations for MLGW’s future power supply. The finalized version will be presented to the Division’s Board of Commissioners in August.
