Memphis Light, Gas and Water President and Chief Executive Officer Jerry Collins Jr. is postponing his retirement to ensure a smooth transition for his successor. Initially, he planned to retire December 19, 2017. He will remain at MLGW until January 31, 2018.

Collins has served as President and CEO of MLGW since 2007. He is the 10th person to lead the utility. A native Memphian, Collins previously served as Director of Public Works for the City of Memphis. His career as a public servant spans approximately 38 years.
