The Share the Pennies Home Weatherization Program has completed nearly 1,000 homes since 2018, all of them in Memphis and Shelby County. Share the Pennies is funded in part by MLGW customers that round up their utility bill to the next whole dollar. The weatherization methods used depend on the home but may include attic insulation, broken window repair/replacement, weatherstripping around doors and windows, and much more.
Visit MIFA.org/sharethepennies for a complete list of repairs as well as eligibility requirements.
