IRP draft ready for public review
May 29, 2020
A draft of the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) is now available online at mlgw.com/powersupplyinfo. It includes scenarios for the future power supply of MLGW and, once finalized, the IRP will serve as a guide for MLGW’s long-term power supply in its mission to safely deliver services that create and sustain superior customer experiences.

MLGW, with assistance from consultant Siemens Industry Incorporated, will offer a Community Engagement meeting on Thursday, June 4 from 6-7:30 p.m. to discuss the draft IRP. The June 4 meeting will mark the beginning of a 30-day, public review period in which the public can email comments and questions about the draft IRP to powersupply@mlgw.org.

Questions emailed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3 will be addressed during the June 4 session.

To join the June 4 Community Engagement meeting from a computer, tablet or smartphone visit: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/197612477. To join the meeting by phone, please call 408-650-3123.

The access code is 197-612-477.

Following the 30-day review period, MLGW and Siemens will finalize the IRP and it will provide the basis for a power supply recommendation to the MLGW Board of Commissioners.
