MLGW crews continue restoration efforts

Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division will continue restoration efforts throughout the weekend following power outages resulting from Tropical Depression Harvey that hit the area on Thursday.
More than 40,000 customers were affected by the storm system. Approximately 3,000 customers remain without power as of Saturday morning. MLGW predicts full restoration by Sunday midnight.
MLGW is the largest three-service public power utility in the nation, serving more than 420,000 customers in Memphis and Shelby County with some of the lowest combined rates in the U.S.
