Streets to reopen September 13

Memphis Light, Gas and Water gas crews will install a gas main at East McLemore Avenue starting Thursday, September 5. 

The installation will cause the closure of East McLemore Avenue between Mississippi Boulevard and Krayer Street. In addition, traffic on Mississippi Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the intersection of East McLemore. 

The work will take place on weekdays from Thursday, September 5 through Friday, September 13, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
