Memphis Light, Gas and Water is partnering with Latino Memphis, Radio Ambiente and the Mid-South Food Bank for the very first “Latino One-Stop,” a combination of resource fair and mobile food pantry, to take place on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at El Mercadito de Memphis, 3766 Ridgeway Rd. When: Saturday, October 8, 2022 Where: El Mercadito de Memphis, 3766 Ridgeway Rd., Memphis, TN 38115 Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Directions: Families picking up food should enter the west entrance off Ridgeway Rd. MLGW security will be onsite to direct traffic.

After receiving their food, attendees can park and enter El Mercadito to take advantage of the “Latino One-Stop” Resource Fair, where vendors will offer information on utility assistance; health insurance; legal resources; child support; and employment opportunities. Also, COVID-19 and flu vaccinations will be available.

Some services require the following:

• A photo ID

• Household income information

• A bill or mail with your name and address as proof of Shelby County residence

• Meet the federal poverty guidelines
