New storm knocks out additional customers

(July 3, 2023, 11:30 a.m.) – Memphis Light, Gas and Water crews are working hard behind back-to-back storms. After restoring 121,400 customers, with 600 customers left to go before full restoration from June 25, another round of storms impacted 16,000 customers Sunday afternoon and overnight

(June 25, 2023, 8 p.m.) – Severe storms, with wind gusts of up to 75 mph, moved through the area causing outages that affected nearly 120,000 customers. MLGW crews will begin damage assessment and identifying immediate actions to restore as many customers as quickly as possible. In addition
