Approximately 100 Memphis Light, Gas and Water employees don red shirts once a month for a mile-and-a-half walk down Main Street to City Hall and back to get ready for MLGW's annual Heart Walk campaign in October. Walkers have included MLGW President and CEO Jerry Collins, the Memphis Grizzlies Lady Bears, Grizz the mascot, Fox 13 reporter Scott Madaus, local Heart Association Vice President of Field Operations Russ Ellis, City Councilwoman Janis Fullilove and Channel 3's Markova Reed. Approximately 40 MLGW employees take a simultaneous walk at MLGW's Netters Business Center and North Service Center. In October, MLGW walkers will participate in the American Heart Association Heart Walk.
