Residency Requirement

Anyone who accepts employment with Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division, will have to live within one hour of their work location in Shelby County, Tennessee.

Future employees who relocate to Memphis for a position will have up to six months from their employment date to comply. Failure to adhere to this procedure shall result in termination.
